Intense Hockey Needs You!

If you are interested in coaching hockey to younger age groups in a fun and enjoyable environment, then Intense Hockey could be well suited to you. Our well designed structure enables you as a coach to deliver the key fundamental aspects of hockey, as well as enjoying your time with the little ones.

We run camps throughout school holidays; a perfect opportunity for teachers & students.

We require all coaches (not including volunteers) to have obtained the following:

1. DBS Certificate (Previously CRB)

2. England Hockey Online Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Hockey Course Certification

3. England Hockey Introduction to Hockey Coaching Workshop Certification (Previously Level 1 Coaching Qualification)

Head Coaches are advised to have obtained the UKCC England Hockey Sessional Coach certification/UKCC England Hockey Coach certification (previously Level 2 Coaching Qualification) OR have obtained the Introduction to Hockey Coaching Workshop certification with considerable coaching experience

Assistant coaches are required to have obtained the minumum requirements as shown above and hold some coaching experience

Volunteers are not required to have any certifications or prior coaching experience. This is primarily for young and aspiring coaches, Duke of Edinburgh Award candidates or those simply looking to build upon their confidence, resilience, skills and friendship groups
