Intense Hockey has provided Hockey camps throughout Yorkshire and the North for over 14 years. Our uniquely developed Field Hockey camps offers specialised 1 to 1 coaching services to a wide range of ages and varying playing abilities.
Our camps are designed differently to others within the area. Not only do we focus on stick skills and technical aspects, but also on umpiring, coaching, team tactics and many other Hockey related topics. This knowledge is invaluable in order to develop upon your core skills and progress along England Hockey's Single System, through JDC, JAC, JRPC, HiPac and Futures.
Everything we teach you is something which you can take back to your clubs and introduce into your teams. In each week, there is a full season's worth of coaching compared to your local one hour club sessions. This is the perfect preparation for the start of the season, or progression towards the Single System.
Video Technology
Our qualified coaches utilise video technology to analyse skill techniques in order to identify the smallest of details usually not visible to the human eye. You will also be able to see this footage for yourself, so that in future you can self-correct your own techniques.
Goalkeeping Courses
We now also offer Goalkeeping courses, so don't be afraid if outfield is not your thing! Our Goalkeeping coaches have devised an intensive and specific daily plan to work on key aspects such as foot movement, glove work, smothering, positioning, short corners and many, many more. Unlike most other Goalkeeping camps you will find, we have exclusive access to a Ball Machine to drastically improve the quality of our sessions.
